I see the practice of law as contribution to people’s lives. A case in my office is not just another client number. It is someone’s life in my hands and I realize that what I do today will affect my client's life forever. Everyone has been given certain talents to help others. I have been blessed enough to recognize my talents and be able to apply them to doing what I love, Practicing law.
My experience of 13 years in Washington D.C.’s small business industry made me very knowledgeable in understanding and appreciating the needs of small business owners.
My family and I migrated to United States while I was very young. However, growing up in an immigrant family has given me an understanding and appreciation for what it means to practice Immigration law.
While just an adolescent, I was accused of a crime that I did not commit. I understand a burden of being charged with a crime. I have been that client myself. This experience has given me the gift of not just sympathizing with my accused clients but rather, empathize and fully understand them.
I hold a B.S. in Business Administration from James Madison University and a Judicial Doctoral degree from Howard University School of Law.
I am a member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, Beta Gamma Sigma business fraternity, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The American Association for Justice, American Immigration Lawyers Association, and Iranian American Bar Association. He has been selected as an enlisted Attorney in 2009 edition of Who's Who in Black Washington D.C.
I serve on the board of directors of D.C. Police Foundation. He is bared in D.C. and Virginia.
